Today let’s talk about connecting with the energy of Cho Ku Rei. It’s easy enough to do when you’re attuned to Reiki 2, simply draw the symbol and you’re good to go…or are you?
Here’s the thing: You don’t need the symbols to have the energy of the symbols, you already have it. The symbols just make the energy easier to access. Lots of peeps get attuned to Reiki 2 for the promise of stronger Reiki. However, a Reiki 1 that has been practicing consistently for 30 years will always have a stronger connection to Reiki than someone that doesn’t practice but still gets attuned to Reiki 2 or higher. No matter how many symbols you use or levels you are you still need to practice Reiki often (if not daily) to build up your energy sensitivity, connection to Reiki and deepen your practice.
Connecting with the Energy of Cho Ku Rei
Sit and place hands in gassho. Begin like you usually do, if you do an opening prayer/invocation then do that.
Call in the energy of Cho Ku Rei to surround you. You could simply say: I call in the energy of Cho Ku Rei.
If you wish to draw or visualize the symbol place it in your hands, above you, in front of you, behind you, wherever you feel like putting it.
Notice how the energy changes. Notice any subtle differences during this time. You can continue on and do a session or stay in gassho and meditate.
Do this every day and notice if/when the energy changes.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right? Yep, Reiki is easy, you just have to practice 😉
